Meet The Sewist
Hi, I’m Maggie! I am a sewist, fiber artist, and maker. I have years of experience with clothing alterations, costuming, embroidery, and
custom clothing.
Sewing in my family has been passed down over generations - from my great grandmother, to my
grandmother, to my mom, and now me. I fell in love with sewing when I was 8 years old and now work as a full-time sewist and alteration specialist.
I love helping my clients find love and
comfort in their favorite garments, or
in new custom clothing!
Your wedding dress should fit you perfectly and make you feel beautiful and confident on your special day. I provide bridal alteration services with care, patience, and attention to every detail. From hemming and adjusting the bodice to altering straps, creating bustles, and working with delicate lace and beading, I want to make sure your gown fits comfortably and looks just the way you envisioned.
I understand how important your wedding dress is, and I take pride in helping you feel your absolute bestwhen you walk down the aisle.

I believe your clothes should fit you comfortably and make you feel good. I offer alterations for everyday clothing to help you get the best fit out of your wardrobe. Whether you need pants hemmed, a dress taken in, sleeves shortened, a zipper replaced, or other adjustments and repairs, I work carefully to make your clothes fit the way you want them to.
I enjoy helping you get more wear out of your favorite pieces and making sure you feel comfortable andconfident in what you wear.
